Operations¶
How Boot Up actually runs day to day.
Delivery model¶
Base: Charleston, West Virginia. Primary refurbishment site: a local makerspace partner. The program is partner-led: classroom sessions run on-site at partner organizations (recovery centers, libraries, schools, reentry orgs, senior centers), with a bring-to-them outreach path via shelters and food banks for adults who can't easily come to us.
Cohorts are small and partner-hosted. The program is designed to fit into what's already working in a community rather than start a parallel system — every operational role inside the program is also a path into paid work for participants and alumni.
