Operations

Toaster Chef runs as an incubator: what it learns in simulation informs real-world program design. The Operations section covers the two real-world initiatives it incubates and the simulation engine that de-risks them before real money or real people are committed.

  • Kitchen Garage — the real-world community-kitchen initiative the game models ([HYPOTHESIS] / early)
  • Charleston Pilot — the detailed business + grant plan for a 3-Trike Charleston, WV deployment ([HYPOTHESIS])
  • Simulation Model — how the headless, server-authoritative simulation and its scenarios work

The relationship between them: the simulation validates operating assumptions cheaply; the Kitchen Garage is the real-world community kitchen those assumptions describe; the Charleston Pilot is the first concrete attempt to put a piece of it (the Trike + Pilot loop) into the field.
