Wholefolk — Operations¶
Status:

Operations for wholefolk at this stage is entirely about running the Phase 0 research to a clear go/no-go decision. There is no platform to operate, no pilot to run, and no team beyond BNI Foundation as the sponsoring org (internal, pre-public).

Known Unknowns¶
- Whether the wholefolk concept is distinct enough from MPowerUP's existing Circle/mutual-aid model to warrant a separate codebase, or whether it should ship as an MPowerUP module.
- Whether blockchain/tokenization is load-bearing or vestigial from the research input.
- Whether Kitchen Garage operations could be the first real pilot, or whether wholefolk needs an independent pilot partner.
- Funding model — open-source / grant (as MPowerUP) or revenue-generating (BNI LLC)?
- Whether wholefolk's existence should be made public (current state: internal, pre-public).
