Wholefolk — Hardware

Status: [HYPOTHESIS] — no dedicated hardware at Phase 0.

Wholefolk has no hardware program. It is a docs-only research initiative, and Phase 0 may conclude no-go (see Roadmap).

Any physical-layer ideas surfaced by the research survey — local distribution / physical-node logistics, RFID/IoT/QR verification at point of handoff, or local-supply-chain pickup points — are noted there only as [HYPOTHESIS] properties of other surveyed systems. They are not wholefolk design commitments and have not been scoped, costed, or evaluated on carbon dimensions.

If a future phase introduces physical infrastructure, it would inherit BNI's Sustainability & Carbon Awareness directive — reuse over new manufacture, off-grid / grid-resilient operation, and local sourcing as first-class design axes.
